Pottery Taster Sessions

Join us at our studio for an enjoyable pottery taster session! These sessions are ideal for exploring your creativity and having a great time with friends or family. These are held mainly at the weekends, but we can also consider some other weekdays upon request.

You can choose from a two-hour taster session or a longer half day (3.5hrs) workshop. We can accommodate up to 4 people in a session but we don’t mix groups so you will have your own reserved slot whether you book for an individual or between 2-4 people.

The two hour sessions are more structured and good for beginners. You will be able to create a handbuilt item and also have a go trying out the potter’s wheel. Your two items (your handbuilt item and your best thrown pot) can be personalized and decorated with colourful slips. These sessions cost £65 per person when 2-4 people book together or £95 for an individual 1-1 session.

The half day workshops are more flexible, and in these you can choose what type of thing you would like to focus on. So whether it’s trying out a few different handbuilding techniques or focusing on the wheel it’s up to you! We can tailor the session around what you would like to do. These cost £95 per person when 2-4 people attend together or £135 for an individual 1-1 session. This includes up to three pieces that will be glazed and fired.

Your finished pieces will be ready for collection in around 4 - 6 weeks later, at no extra charge. If you would like more items fired, we're happy to assist for an additional fee based on item size and weight.
